Who we are
This website, https://annimou.moe ("Annimou"), is operated by the Annimou team ("we", "us"). It is a public scoreboard for the อันนี้โม้ (Annimou) anime-review podcast, where each anime is scored on Production Quality and Boaster. Visitors can browse without an account, or sign in with Google to rate anime and report problems. We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy. Contact: annimou.rsb@gmail.com.
Google user data we access
When you choose "Sign in with Google" we request only the openid, email and profile scopes and receive:
• Your name, used to show who is signed in and on your profile.
• Your email address, used to identify your account and to follow up on reports you submit.
• Your profile picture, shown as your avatar.
• Your Google account ID, used only as the stable key that links you to your account on our site.
We do not request access to your Gmail, Drive, contacts, calendar or any other Google service.
Other information we collect
• Ratings: the 0 to 5 star rating you give an anime (one per anime, not editable).
• Reports: the content of reports you submit, the anime concerned, and the status we assign.
• Preferences stored in your browser: language, theme, your cookie choice and a sign-in session token (see Cookies and browser storage).
• Server logs: standard technical logs (IP address, time, requested URL) kept by Google Cloud for security and troubleshooting.
• Analytics: anonymous usage statistics through Google Analytics for Firebase, only if you accept analytics cookies.
Browsing the site without signing in does not give us your name, email or profile data.
How we use your information
We use your information only to provide and improve the user-facing features of this site: signing you in and keeping you signed in, showing your name and avatar, recording your one-time rating per anime and calculating averages, reviewing and replying to reports, keeping the site secure, and understanding how it is used (analytics, with your consent). We do not use it for advertising or profiling.
Google user data and Limited Use
Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google user data only to provide the user-facing features described above. We do not use it for targeted or personalized advertising, do not sell it or give it to data brokers, do not use it to determine credit-worthiness or for lending, and do not use it to train AI or machine-learning models. Humans at Annimou do not read your Google user data except to respond to a report or support request you send us, for security, or where required by law.
Sharing and who can access your data
We do not sell your personal data. We do not transfer or disclose your information to third parties except: (1) our service providers, Google Cloud (database, hosting, file storage), Firebase Hosting and, if you consent, Google Analytics for Firebase, who process data on our behalf; (2) where required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users and the site. Inside our team, access is limited to a small group of administrators, who can see visitor names and email addresses in the admin portal in order to manage accounts and reports.
Security
We protect your information with encryption in transit (HTTPS) and encryption at rest on Google Cloud, and separate login credentials and tokens for visitors and administrators. Secrets are kept in Google Secret Manager, and access is limited to the small administrator group. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable and appropriate steps to protect your data against unauthorized access, use, loss, alteration or disclosure.
Where your data is stored
Data is stored on Google Cloud in the asia-southeast1 region (Singapore). If you use the site from Thailand or elsewhere, your data is transferred to and processed in that region. By signing in you consent to this transfer, which we carry out only with the providers named above.
Cookies and browser storage
The site stores small pieces of data in your browser: your sign-in session token (so you stay signed in), your language and theme choice, your cookie choice, and a temporary note of a rating you picked before signing in. These are needed for the site to work. Analytics cookies are set only if you accept them in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time through "Manage cookie preferences" in the menu, and rejecting analytics does not affect how the site works. You can also clear browser storage at any time, which signs you out.
Retention and deletion
We keep your account data while your account is active. To delete your account and the personal data we hold about you, email annimou.rsb@gmail.com from the address on your account. We will complete the deletion within 3 to 7 days. This removes your name, email, profile picture and Google account ID, and removes your ratings and reports or detaches them from you so they can no longer be linked to you. We may keep limited information longer only where required or permitted by law. Anonymous analytics data is not linked to your account.
Revoking Google access
You can stop our site from accessing your Google account at any time at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions by removing Annimou. After you revoke access you can no longer sign in, but data we already hold stays until you ask us to delete it using the process above.
Your rights
Under Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and similar laws you may request access to, a copy of, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, withdraw your consent, or object to processing. Email annimou.rsb@gmail.com; we will respond as soon as reasonably possible and within the period required by law, and within 3 to 7 days for deletion requests.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version, and we will post a notice on the site for significant changes. If we ever want to use Google user data for a new purpose, we will notify you and ask for your consent before doing so.
